Rabbit Agility :)
Rabbit agility is something new to our county and most people have never heard of it. Most people don't know that rabbits are like dogs, they can be trained to do agility. A rabbit has a shorted attention span then a dog so in order to train them you have to do things for a short amount of time and then repeat them daily for a few months. Some rabbits are natural learners, you put them on the leash and they do anything. My county has a few kids who do the agility project on a monthly basis and come to all the meetings. These are the kids whose rabbits are doing the best because at the meetings we go over how to properly train your rabbit.
Order of training a rabbit:
Leash/ Harness Train
Train to Walk on Harness
Jump Train
Tunnel Train
Train to go on the Teeter-Totter
Running Train
An Agility Course Includes:
Jumps
A frame
Teeter-Totter
Tunnel
Poles/ Cones
Pause Box
